Hey! I’m Anya, a grade 11 student in Victoria, British Columbia. My journey in music started in the third grade with the violin and since then, my passion for music has only grown. In the past 8 years, I’ve played for the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra, competed in music festivals, received scholarships from the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and much more. I currently play at the ARCT level and I am honoured to serve as the Chords of Care’s Victoria Branch director. Outside of violin, you can find me playing tennis, basketball, or drinking bubble tea. During spare time, I also love volunteering at local hospitals and organizing school events year round. Through music, I truly hope that our organization can make a positive impact on senior home residents and make their days brighter!
