Hi! My name is Ellen Zhang and I’m a Toronto native who is currently studying in London, UK. I’ve always been an avid participant in my school’s musical clubs, and now have over seven years of experience as a choral singer and flute player. In addition, I help organize events through my school’s music council and enjoy songwriting on the side. One thing that draws me to music is the inherent sense of community and the way it can be used to inspire and move an audience. I began performing music for service when I went carolling at a senior home as an elementary school student, and I aim to continue to bring joy to people in difficult circumstances through Chords of Care. Outside of music, I enjoy dancing, playing soccer, and figure skating.
